At AcuPort Acupuncture, our focus is to work in partnership with our clients to address their individual health concerns as they move towards optimal health and wellness. We believe in the importance of treating the whole person and not only individual symptoms. Illness does not begin or end in a vacuum; each of us has our own life experiences, emotions, nutritional needs, and responses to various stressors have shaped our lives and our health. At AcuPort, we believe each person has their own mechanism of healing, and we focus our treatment on returning your body back to balance and restoring good health.
About the Owner
Lynn
Keating, Owner of AcuPort, is a Licensed Acupuncturist
in the State of NY as well as a NCCAOM Diplomate.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York College
of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, NY with
an MS in Health Science/ Acupuncture.
Lynn is a Holistic Health Coach certified by the
American Association of Drugless Practitioners,
SUNY Purchase and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
Lynn earned her BA in Psychology in 1993. Due to
her own health challenges as a teen, she became
inspired to broaden her understanding and experience
in holistic medicine and the mind-body connection.
She spent 15 years studying Eastern and Western
philosophies of health and healing; including oriental
medicine, homeopathic medicine, spiritual psychology,
nutrition, massage therapy and fitness training.
Through her studies and own path to healing, Lynn
found a passion for supporting others on their path
to healing and feeling well. She believes her own
experience of healing chronic digestive and low
energy challenges, has given her the added insight
of understanding that how one is treated as a person
is an essential piece of healing.
As a health professional, it is Lynn’s intent to
create a healing space where you feel heard and
seen and where you feel you have a supportive partner
on your path to health and wellness.
