I was sent a clip that profoundly touched me. The beauty of the relationship is indeed deeply moving, as is the beauty of the human spirit when faced with adversity. However, what struck me most in this video was one of the written words about letting go of who we want ourselves (and others) “to be” and instead just let ourselves be

As I welcome you to my blog, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who will take the time to read my entries and hopefully comment as well.
I thought it might be helpful to give you a brief sense of my philosophy on health and well being so you can know what to expect from this blog.
I am a firm believer in bio-individuality. It is my belief that we each have our own unique path to what nourishes us, makes us feel well, and brings us joy. We all have our own likes/ dislikes; strengths and challenges – so it would make sense that we all have different needs and requirements to our wellness.
And, while I believe food choices and good exercise habits are essential to health, I also believe that being nourished in all areas of our life is equally important. I value the impact healthy relationships/ friendships, joy & laughter, career and/ or hobbies, finances, sleep, and spiritual life have on our well being.
As a health professional, it is my intent to create a healing space where you feel heard and seen and where you feel you have a supportive partner on your path to health and wellness.
In this blog, it is my intent to share some of the ideas I feel are important to health and wellness; some days it may be a specific health matter other days it may be a recipe I enjoy, and on other days it may simply be a funny story that I hope will make you laugh. And please remember, some of it will be not be exact ideas, foods etc that work for you but I hope it allows you to explore and think about what makes you feel your best!
So I would like to start with a question that will hopefully generate some discussion…
For you, what are essentials to living and feeling well?
In peace and wellness,
Lynn
